LXVI

Ever since leaving the enterprise, Lucky had been standing at the starboard bow looking out over the empty seas. The Crew ignored her threw out the day. The sky was filled with stars and the milky way could be seen clearly. It was a beautiful night.

“What are you looking for?” Lucky recognized the voice immediately.

“None of your business Tristan.” She answered.

“Why do you look for him.”

Tristan stepped up next to her, “he has no respect for what you are, no appreciation for your abilities,” he stood very close to her and brushed her hair back from her face, “And does not move on your advancements.”

Lucky turned so she could look at him, “what are you trying to say?”

Tristan smiled showing off his dazzling white teeth, it was his most charming smile lucky had seen. He took one of her hands and gently caressed it, “I know if I were him I wouldn’t have let you off my boat.” He curled his finger around one of her curls.

Lucky felt her face heat up and her lips felt tingly again. She looked down, then up again. Tristan caressed her check then they leaned in and kissed.

Moving back Tristan brushed her check again. “I’ve got to go.” He said as he flipped over the side of the ship. His body transformed into his serpent form and splashed into the ocean.
